Roy Choi already has two restaurants (Chego, A-Frame), but this Friday, a non-Kogi food truck will open its first-and-mortar location. Frysmith (@frysmith) is moving into beer-centric Hollywood rock 'n roll bar Loaded, offering optional “loaded” versions of all their gourmet potato dishes. Frysmith's popular Rajas Fries are dressed up with sumac-laced mascarpone and roasted jalapeño sauce, while their chili cheese fries get the star treatment with bacon, sour cream and scallions.

The kitchen will be open seven days a week, from happy hour to late night. To celebrate the grand opening, patrons can get $2 off any Frysmith dish this Friday (March 11th) only.

Wheeled eateries + brick-and-mortar establishments: Is the Frysmith/Loaded partnership the harbinger of a new era or an isolated experiment?
