The Hunger Walk takes place in Santa Monica to benefit  individuals who turn to Westside Food Bank’s member agencies for food assistance and support. We’re over halfway to our fundraising goal. It’s free to register and there will be fun  raffle items, gift bags for each walker and a beach bash after party at Perry’s Café. Every donated dollar from the event will provide four meals for neighbors in need.

Monday, November 11

On Veteran’s Day, Wienerschnitzel will get in the patriotic spirit by offering one free original chili dog, small fries and small Pepsi per military guest. To redeem, guests must present their military ID or wear their military uniform to a participating Wienerschnitzel location.

And if you’d rather commemorate with a burger, Hopdoddy Burger Bar is honoring those who have served at all Hopdoddy locations. Veterans and active military will receive a free classic burger with cheese.

Tuesday, November 12

Harold & Belle’s Restaurant is wrapping up a year of celebrations for their 50 years with a whole day at 50 percent off the entire menu (excluding alcohol, to-go and the happy hour menu). They won’t be taking reservations for that day so it’s first come first serve.  The third-generation husband-and-wife team of Ryan and Jessica Legaux  have expanded the brand of Harold & Belle’s through various avenues, including their food trailer, Harold & Belle’s To Go; Harold & Belle’s Creole Seasoning; and by adding a state-of-the-art banquet room called the Peacock Lounge and an additional private dining room to the restaurant.
