We've all been to our fair share of sausage fests — usually ones involving lots of popped collars, jäger bombs and frat bros named Chad — but we doubt any will compare to Currywurst's “Über-Juicy Sausage Sommer-Fest” coming up Sunday, June 24. Free sausages will be handed out to the first 100 customers who show that they are following @CurrywurstUS on Twitter (still easier than most of those Living Social deals).

For those not familiar, the shop near Fairfax and Third serves one of Germany's favorite street foods: grilled sausages chopped up and doused with a zesty, curry-spiced ketchup and a pile of french fries. You can even dip your fries in mayo like those crazy Europeans do. One small footnote: Currywurst does not serve beer (unless you count non-alcoholic beer), meaning you'll have to look elsewhere — one of the fine bars located inside the nearby Original Farmers Market, perhaps? — if you'd like to follow your Berlin specialty with a German lager.
