The local beatmakers (Brainfeeder, Low End Theory, etc.) have been up in arms over a daring critical attempt to round them up in the “Aquacrunk” genre.

But like any term despised by the descriptees (see “goth,” “hipster”), it must strike some kind of deep self-hating chord. And now, because of their calling attention to the word via twitter, we can't stop thinking about “aquacrunk” everytime they drop a new track (that is, every 15 minutes).

It's like the old bad joke/zen riddle/ontological teaching moment: do not think about pink elephants. See what we did there?

Now, Teebs has dropped his latest track through Brainfeeder (via XLR8R). It bears the (totally Aquacrunk) title “Why Like This”.
