Anyone evacuated due to the fires and first responders are invited to come in for a free meal at Fat Dragon in Silver Lake. The Chinese restaurant and tea house is closed for regular dine-in service until further notice to make room for those in need.

 

Everytable is offering free scratch-made meals to first responders in uniform or proof of badge through Sunday, Jan. 12. Use code: LAFIRST at checkout, in-store only.  The Cal State LA location is closed for the rest of the week due to fires.
Now through Thursday, Jan. 16, first responders can visit any of the California-born  Round Table Pizza locations in LA  and receive a free personal cheese pizza.
Pasadena-based Dog Haus is offering free Haus Dogs to those impacted by the fire, available at its original location in Pasadena,  105 N Hill Ave., near Pasadena City College. Details HERE – One per person, dine-in only, while supplies last.  Free meals for firefighters are also available at Dog Haus Los Angeles-area locations including  Alhambra, Azusa, Burbank, Canoga Park, Carson, Chino Hills, Claremont, Eastvale, Glendora Public Market, North Burbank, North Hollywood, Northridge, Old Pasadena, Palmdale, Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, Thousand Oaks and West Covina. Now through Friday,  Jan. 17, The Hideaway in  Beverly Hills 17 is offering its Uno, Dos, Tres three-course lunch meal all day free of charge to those in need, firefighters and first responders. To claim the offer, simply check in with the host when you arrive.

Starting today, Friday, Jan. 10, through Wednesday, Jan. 15, all Habit Burger & Grill L.A. County locations will provide a free charburger or veggie burger meal (burger, fries, drink) to all first responders and evacuees. Simply stop in and order from the kiosk or a cashier. No delivery or digital orders.  In addition, its fleet of trucks is available to feed firefighters or evacuation centers,  simply put in the request on the website, free of charge and the truck will come to your location. Also, starting today, Friday, Jan. 10, through Monday, Jan. 20, Din Tai Fung is offering a complimentary takeout meal to firefighters and other on-duty first responders with a show of professional ID. Participating locations include Glendale, Century City, Del Amo, and Santa Anita.

 

Fatburger is supporting those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires by donating 10,000 meals to first responders and fire evacuees. Over the next several days, Fatburger, via its food truck, the “Fatmobile,” will serve up 10,000 meals at first responder sites and shelters.
Panda Express is offering free meals to firefighters and other on-duty emergency responders in the impacted areas of LA County through Sunday. Firefighters and on-duty emergency responders can simply show their ID to redeem the meal in-store.

NORMS is offering free meals for firefighters and first responders as well as donations to the LAFD Emergency Fund from Thursday, Jan. 9, through Sunday, Jan. 12. This offer is available at all NORMS locations in Southern California,  offering a complimentary entrée to any firefighter or police officer.  Proof of service (valid ID, uniform, or badge) is required, and the offer is valid for dine-in or to-go orders at participating NORMS locations. One free entrée per person, per order, excludes third-party delivery, catering, NORMS Rewards App, and NORMS.com orders.

NORMS will donate $1 to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation – Emergency Funding Program for every Bigger Better Breakfast ordered during this time. Choose from the classic, sirloin steak, or Gobble Gobble Bigger Better Breakfast options.

Burger King is showing its support for local first responders by offering free meals. While firefighters and emergency personnel work around the clock to protect LA neighborhoods, 14 participating Burger King locations across Greater LA will serve free meals as a gesture of gratitude for their tireless service and in hopes of providing a moment of relief during their demanding shifts.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Pasadena is stepping up to support the community during this challenging time. While efforts are urgent, Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Pasadena is offering free meals for first responders in uniform as a token of appreciation and a safe haven for locals, providing a space to sit and charge devices.

Beginning Today, Jan. 9, participating L.A. County Sizzler locations are staying open traditional hours and offering a complimentary meal including a choice of a six oz Steak, six Jumbo Crispy Shrimp, or Malibu Chicken entree, alongside the choice of side and fountain drink for all first responders and evacuees affected by the current wildfire crisis.

The Van Nuys, Los Feliz, Palmdale, and Fox Hills locations will be participating, just mention this offer at the cashier to redeem a complimentary fire relief meal. The offer will currently run through Sunday, Jan. 12. As the situation evolves further, Sizzler may extend the offer to continue providing community support. As part of the JAPAN HOUSE LA Foundation has an ongoing series of programs on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across various perspectives and industries,  the first program of the year on Monday, Jan. 13 will explore the universal language of comfort food through the culinary traditions of Japan, Brazil, and Morocco. Representatives from each country will share the stories and traditions behind their most beloved dishes – from Japanese takoyaki and karaage that evoke festive summer nights, Brazilian feijoada stew that brings families together, and Moroccan tagines designed for hospitality. Following the presentations, guests will enjoy an authentic tasting experience and have the chance to mingle, network, and reflect on what comfort food means to them. 

Cassoulet Night at A.O.C. returns on Sunday, Jan. 19 celebrating the  Southern French country classic that features a slow-cooked duck confit, sausage, and white beans.
