Wilma Girard Airlifted after Deadly T-Bone Accident near Kemper Road

MODESTO, CA (December 9, 2021)Frederick Girard was killed, and Patrick Davis was arrested after a collision on Bentley Road, Sunday.

The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m., near Bentley and Kemper Road.

Reports indicate that a couple, both 86, were traveling in a 2007 Toyota Camry. As the driver attempted to turn left, the vehicle was t-boned by a 2003 Chevy pickup-truck.

Crews later identified the pickup-truck driver as 33-year-old Patrick Davis. Authorities say his two passengers were his children, a three-year-old and a five-month-old.

Police said Frederick died at the scene due to the extent of his condition. Meanwhile, medics transported his wife Wilma Girard, to a local hospital by helicopter.

Following preliminary duties, Davis was arrested for driving under influence. Once available, further details will be provided.
