L.A. rapper Freddie Gibbs — a onetime L.A. Weekly cover star — is dropping a brand new EP on New York's Decon label later this month.

Str8 Killa is out August 3, but a day enthusiastic fans and cowering housewives will get a chance to hear some of it early thanks to the Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape due out July 29 via XXL Magazine.

(Check out more Gibbs mixtapes here.)

You can also stream and download the EP track, “National Anthem (Fuck the World),” here at West Coast Sound. Because we're quick like that.

On the song, Gibbs raps in detail about his younger days growing up deeply impoverished in Gary, Indiana. He also raps, “Playa-haters, fuck 'em / Record label, fuck 'em.”

Now that's no way to talk to your new business partner, Freddie.
