A man was shot to death as he was exiting a club with a group of friends March 6. According to police reports, 21-year-old Fred Godbolt was shot after getting into a confrontation with a suspect outside the front door of the El Sabor Lounge at 847 South Union Street around 2 a.m. on Friday night.
