Hemet Pedestrian Crash Left Franco Saavedra Dead

HEMET, CA (November 22, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Stetson Avenue claimed the life of Franco Saavedra early Monday.

According to the investigators, the victim walked on the crosswalk against a red light causing the incident.

Afterwards, the Hemet police and fire personnel responded at the intersection of Stetson Avenue and Sanderson around 4:39 a.m.

Upon arrival, officials discovered a male victim lying in the roadway sustaining major injuries and eventually died at the scene.

Later on, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 32-year-old Franco Saavedra of Hemet.

Hemet Officials continue to investigate the pedestrian crash.
