Two Dead after Vehicle Strikes Power Pole on Mankas Corner Road

FAIRFIELD, CA (October 11, 2022) – Wednesday, a DUI crash on Mankas Corner Road claimed the lives of Francisco Rodriguez and Suzanne Johnson.

The incident happened on October 5th at approximately 8:40 p.m., near the intersection of Mankas Corner Road and Ledgewood Road.

According to reports, a vehicle traveling south on Mankas Corner Road left the highway and crashed into a power pole. The occupants of the vehicle, 55-year-old Rodriguez and 46-year-old Johnson, died on impact.

Upon investigation, police have identified alcohol as a factor in the crash.
