56-Year-Old Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident near Saragota Drive

SALINAS, CA (May 13, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, Francisco Javier Vasquez Jr. died in a motorcycle crash on Natividad Road.

The accident happened near Saragota Drive around 2:30 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, Frank was riding his motorcycle north on the road when he was struck by a Ford F150 pickup-truck attempting to turn left in front of him.

The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle onto the road. Upon arrival, paramedics discovered the victim with significant injuries. As a result, authorities transported Vasquez Jr. to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated.
