Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on McDowell Road
PHOENIX, AZ (February 24, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, four victims were hospitalized following a 3-car crash on 48th Street.
According to authorities, the accident happened on 48th Street and McDowell Road. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.
For reasons unknown, the driver of a vehicle lost control and overturned in the area. Reports indicate that the passengers were able to escape the vehicle.
Paramedics arrived and transported three men and one woman, all in their 20s, to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
Further circumstances surrounding the crash remain under active investigation.
