Plenty of stand-up comics have gotten their big break thanks to Chelsea Handler, and Fortune Feimster is no exception. For years, Feimster was a regular panelist (and guest host) on Chelsea Lately, waxing bitchy on the latest Hollywood hot messes and other pop culture news. Now, she’s headed for prime time. After appearing on Last Comic Standing, and in bit parts on 2 Broke Girls and Workaholics, Feimster is set to star in an upcoming, semiautobiographical sitcom produced by 30 Rock’s Tina Fey, Matt Hubbard and Robert Carlock, which is set in North Carolina, where she grew up, and is based on her family and stand-up career.
