Visionaries dare to change an entire industry. Throughout history, it was lands that they conquered; modernly today, it’s an entire industry that they seek. The sheer devotion, confidence, and striving to make a difference make them innovators and visionaries. They take risks, push boundaries, and change the landscape with their new ideas in different ways.

Even in today’s rapidly changing business environment, several visionaries arrive intending to revolutionize an entire industry. One instance is Steve Haddadin, the former Vice President of Legislative Affairs of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the founder of King Real Estate Group. Haddadin has achieved recognition for his all-out approach to improving the real estate industry. Entering the industry at the young age of 18, the real estate powerhouse has gathered diverse experiences in different disciplines. Whether it’s selling commercial and residential properties or managing his business, he has quickly made a name for himself in the industry.

Haddadin started out with managing Office and Retail properties in 2013. He was appointed to serve as the Vice of Legislative Affairs of the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2020  for a 1 year term. Although he did not seek another term, his work led to industry wide advancements. Haddadin’s experience and his immense desire to thrive has made him a notable professional in the real estate industry. “In a highly competitive industry, you need to stand out. Having a well-rounded education will help you develop the skills and the tools to serve your clients better,” says Haddadin. Claiming that education has been an integral part of his growth, he also achieved several certifications and affiliations like Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM®) from the CCIM Institute, Certified Property Manager (CPM®) from Institute of Real Estate Management, Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS®), and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) from the National Association of Realtors. Benjamin Franklin said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Business leaders often forget that learning is integral to keeping an organization running. Steve Haddadin believes that his learning ability will help him become a better professional and ensure his organization’s success.

Another element that makes Haddadin stand tall among other business owners is the approach to improving the real estate industry, as well as helping others. As the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at the Institute of Real Estate Management, Orange County, he identifies different issues relevant to the new legislation. The Institute of Real Estate Management was one of the major driving forces that applauded Congress for the COVID-19 relief package, which was embedded into the law in December 2020.

The real estate sector was in shambles after the world was struck by the COVID-19 pandemic, both for the business owners and the consumers. However, Haddadin’s efforts with the Institute of Real Estate Management paid dividends with the package, which provided financial and emergency rental assistance for both entities.

Headed by Steve Haddadin, the institution also coordinated with politicians and other advocacy groups. The goal was to provide diligent solutions as the real estate industry devised contingency plans to run businesses in the new normal. Although he initially focused on Orange County, California, he took the necessary steps to elevate the entire U.S. real estate market.

In today’s pandemic-torn economic environment, the real estate industry has suffered a lot. However, the real estate enthusiast believes that businesses will have to make an effort to serve others in these troubled times. As the Vice President of Legislative Affairs, he also fostered relationships with students who aspire to step foot in the real estate sector by engaging with student organizations. He wishes to inspire the next breed of real estate brokers, who can later help others and become better professionals to further improve the industry as a whole.

Steve Haddadin and King Real Estate Group’s journey is still beginning, but his efforts have significantly transcended limitations and defied odds. With that in motion, he strives to become the face of the real estate industry in the United States. As things stand, the world is Steve’s for the taking.
