As the digital marketing landscape continues evolving, it’s more important than ever for brands to stay ahead of the curve. Many do that by working closely with digital marketing agencies, but that won’t be effective if the agency lacks the insight and experience to really make an impact. Youssef Ali is a prominent voice in this space bringing over a decade of experience. His expertise extends across all social media platforms, making him uniquely qualified to help companies thrive in today’s constantly changing environment. That’s what he’s doing at his newly launched digital marketing agency, Syft.

Syft is described as “A digital talent collective located in Los Angeles, CA bringing together a group of experts in design, creative strategy, software development, and digital marketing from around the world.” Ali and his team are on a mission to empower creators and inventors and help them develop robust launch strategies that will enable individuals and brands to grow. With his experience working with prominent brands and individuals, Ali is already doing what he does best: deliver.

A naturally artistic person, Ali established his reputation in the digital marketing space through music video production. Growing up, he’d known he liked music but saw no way to turn his passion into profits, so Ali took another path. Ali graduated with a degree in psychology and later an MBA before venturing into business. Despite achieving massive success as a business owner, Ali knew something was missing, but he didn’t know what it was until he discovered music production. He became invested in creating viral content, and his career exploded.

With the introduction of social media, Ali saw an opportunity to grow his career. He started using social platforms to help individuals and brands grow their audiences through influencer marketing. Ali spent 4 years working as the head of digital marketing for FaZe Clan, the most popular esports and entertainment organization in the world. During his tenure at FaZe Clan, he conducted successful social media campaigns with influencers from all platforms.

Ali executive produced the first viral YouTube diss track with Ricegum and Alissa Violet. The track, “It’s Every Night Sis,” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in March 2018. Ali also worked with the first Arabic superstar Haifa Wehbe to produce and launch music in English, working on the tracks “Breathing You In” and Habibi featuring Ne-Yo. Ali worked with Payton Moormeier too, helping release his music before he got signed to a major label.

When influencer marketing started gaining popularity, Ali was one of its earliest adopters. He helped brands and individuals to adopt the new marketing techniques and scale their businesses. Some of Ali’s achievements include successful marketing campaigns for the Weeknd, Nav, and Trevor Daniel, among others. Ali maintains that influencers have a much more powerful voice than traditional advertising or celebrity endorsements because they’re closer to their followers and speak on their behalf.

In the wake of new tech developments and the growth of Web3, Ali observes that the shift from traditional marketing to digital methods will continue to expand. His firm is already working on new ways to market using Web3 technology to ensure its clients remain on top in their industries.
