Downtown has really grown up in the last ten years. It has more than a few foodie-approved eateries, several upscale bars, a new Broad museum on the way, and an NFL stadium proposal that's being touted by the folks behind Staples Center.

But what it really needs is more breasts and tight, orange shorts. No revival is complete without them.

Blogdowntown has been on the Hooters beat for months now and breaks the news that, yes, the eatery-slash-perv-emporium is coming soon to an LA Live-adjacent building.

Construction on the Hooters at 1248 S. Figueroa will start next month, a source told the site.

A Knights Restaurant, a themed, Medieval Times-type eatery, is going in at an adjacent space. So you'll have the choice of cheese or cheese for your dining needs on this stretch of South Fig.

When's Hooters opening? We don't know. We want to know.
