Next month, some of L.A.'s finest gourmet food trucks will offer their mobile meals at a venue normally associated with the Dodger Dog. The L.A. Flea Market, celebrating its grand opening at Dodger Stadium on July 18, will feature India Jones, Dosa, Slice Truck, Mandoline Grill, Canter's Deli, Border Grill, Komodo, Fresh Fries, Crepe'n Around and Reggae Chicken. For dessert, shoppers can snag treats from Cool Haus ice cream sandwiches, Tropical Shave Ice, The Sweets Truck and Del's Lemonade. Turn the page for more details.

The L.A. Flea Market will debut with a Hollywood Yard Sale hosted by Rick Dees featuring clothes and jewelry donated by such celebrities as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Mariah Carey and Tim Allen. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Salvation Army. Those fancy duds will be in addition to the more than 500 vendors selling everything from designer and vintage clothing, collectibles, antique furniture and home and garden items. The flea market will also feature live music and a kids' area with games and rides.

A VIP pass buys you valet parking, an early-bird 7 a.m. entrance, a shaded seating area, access to “executive” Port-a-Potties and a concierge service to haul purchased items back to your Escalade.

After the grand opening, the L.A. Flea Market will be held monthly (check the website for dates). Admission is $5 for the hoi polloi, starting at 9 a.m., and includes free parking. Early bird tickets are $10-$15, and the VIP treatment is $25. Leashed pets are allowed. Kids under 12 get in free, leashed or not.
