President Obama will be in Los Angeles this month to help raise money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, according to Variety (via LA Observed). You can rub shoulders with the prez for only $2,500 when he meets with Hollywood industry supporters at the home of ER and The West Wing executive producer John Wells and his wife Marilyn.

According to Variety, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be in the house too.

Wells, by the way, is president of the Writers Guild of America, West, and he's a 2008 Obama campaign supporter.

The president seems to like it here. He was in L.A. in April for the same thing: Cash.
