High-priced food festivals like Taste of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles Times Celebration of Food and Wine are quickly approaching, but there's one festival even a high-schooler can afford: the first annual Munch LA food fair at Fairfax High School, September 18 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., for $7 (pre-sale ticket price).

If you have yet to track down the dozens of food trucks rolling around L.A., there will be 30 of them here. In addition to well-known trucks such as LudoBites, Calbi, Don Chow Tacos, Nana Queens, and Eat Phamish, there will also be newcomers like Loukstogo, and Slice Truck, according to @MunchLA. There will be culinary demonstrations, complementary drinks, free parking, fashion vendors, and music. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the high school.
