Remember back when you had to call a restaurant to see when it was open? And the restaurant was a brick-and-mortar place that didn't move so you knew that it would be there when you drove into the parking lot? Yeah, yeah, and I rode my horse to that school on the prairie too. Anyway, to keep up with the hours and locations of your favorite food trucks now, you need to track them on Twitter.

This just got a whole lot easier with yesterday's launch of Find LA Food Trucks, a website that tracks LA's twittering food trucks. (They also have sites for San Francisco, New York and Portland.) You can check popular locations, suggest a truck that's not yet on the site (right now they have 22), link to maps and check for trucks that are vegetarian- or vegan-friendly. Now if they just had a site that tracked twittering politicians. Well, maybe not.
