Tomorrow kicks off five days of found footage feting known as the Everything is Festival at Cinefamily. It's a celebration of diggers, curators, and collectors as much as the weird, funny, campy, boogerfaced footage they unearth. Along with Joe Dante's four-hour legend The Movie Orgy (1969), a Q & A with the writing staff from “Conan,” and a motivational speech by Andrew W.K., the Cinefamily welcomes Thu Tran, hostess of IFC's Food Party, to the Silent Movie Theater stage for questions and cooking demos. But what is Food Party you ask? We're glad you did.

Food Party is a cooking show in the vein of Pee Wee's Playhouse. The show your kids made out of macaroni then gained a cult following. A lo-fi DIY home cooking show that teaches the secrets of a serious kitchen. We mean a seriously technicolor kitchen: How to make everyone think you have a food budget that rivals Scarface's coke budget, and how to plate cheese puffs to impress your guests. The answer is imagination. And food glue (Easy Cheese). A sock puppet sous chef also helps, but not terribly because they don't have hands.

Tran has cooked for celebrities like Jay-Z, Beyonce, and LeBron James' cardboard cutouts. She has given birth to a galactic vampire kitten. Sows quiver before her cleaver. Tomorrow she'll be playing clips from her favorite moments on Food Party as well as some of her never-before-seen food-related video shorts. All this in addition to her on-stage cooking demo which we hope will go something like this…

Everything Is Festival passes are available on Brown Paper Tickets. For more information or to buy tickets for Food Party at Cinefamily ($12), visit the Cinefamily website. Event starts at 9:45.
