[UPDATE 2/6/11: Yep–Dave just announced YET ANOTHER Foo Fighters secret show. But where? Details here.]

At this point, it's no secret that The Foo Fighters dig doing secret shows. And though they've played off the beaten path venues for most of them, last night, they chose a well-treaded locale. Dave Grohl announced the band would be playing Hollywood favorite The Dragonfly via a link to a mock radio station yesterday and the show- which cost 20 bucks a pop- immediately sold out.

The band played for about two hours, starting with the entire upcoming new album (April 12). Bob Mould opened and sang on a FF tune. Heads were swung and shaken. Pits were soaked. And Foo fun was had by all lucky enough to pack into the 'fly.

Our take on the new material and the performance on Monday. For now, enjoy some pics of the Fighters feeling it and then some.
