Fiery Crash on U.S. 95 near Mile Marker 52 Left Five Dead

BEATTY, NV (July 24, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a fiery crash on U.S. 95, just south of Beatty, left five people and a dog dead. The incident occurred on July 19th, at around 1:45 p.m., on U.S. 95, near mile marker 52. According to reports, a Subaru SUV, headed south, attempted to pass another vehicle in the northbound lane. While in the northbound lane, the Subaru collided head-on with a Buick SUV that was traveling northbound. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to catch fire. Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced five people and a dog dead at the scene. Of the five, one adult, and two juveniles were traveling in the Subaru. Two adults and a dog were traveling in the Buick. At this time, no further details regarding the fiery crash on U.S. 95 are currently available.
