Several Hospitalized after Auto Accident on Elwood Street

GOODYEAR, AZ (August 4, 2022) – Friday night, a 2-vehicle collision near Sarival Avenue left five people injured.

The incident happened on July 29th, involving a white sedan and another vehicle, at the intersection of Sarival Avenue and Elwood Street.

For reasons currently unknown, the white sedan and another vehicle collided. The sedan sustained major damage to the passenger side and the other vehicle came to a stop flipped on its drivers side.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene and transported at least five people to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained.

In addition, crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, the identities of those involved in the collision near Sarival Avenue have not been made public. However, more information will be provided once made available.
