Forget amateur singers. The hottest thing on YouTube lately seems to be Southern California fist fights. And they're not just for taco shops, either.

The latest comes straight out of downtown L.A., where a bevy of boozed-up onlookers at a bar appeared to be treated to a weekend standoff in the street between a homeless guy and a man taking on a martial-arts stance that would have made Bruce Lee proud.

What the karate kid got was …

… baby powder in his face. A little. The homeless man's overhead shaking of his baby powder bottle makes it look more like a baptism than a first blow, though.

And, after a missed kick by MMA man, there wasn't much to it. The traffic was more of a threat.

Still, it was fun listening to bar patrons:

“This is so going on YouTube,” said one.

“Where's your baby powder,” asked another.

“He has to be high,” one said of the homeless guy.

“Totally,” announced another.

The video ends with the homeless guy, suitcase and all, taunting a large bouncer. That'll get him a home — in the hospital.
