Unidentified Victim Killed in Big-Rig Collision near Coal Canyon Trail

YORBA LINDA, CA (April 7, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, at least one person was killed in a fiery semi-truck accident on 91 Freeway.

Just before 1:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to the westbound lanes of the freeway near Coal Canyon Trail.

At this time, the events leading up to the deadly collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that medics pronounced one person dead due to the extent of their condition.

Additionally, investigators say the semi-truck caught fire upon impact.

Meanwhile, all westbound lanes were shut down for several hours while the officers cleared the scene. An investigation into the semi-truck accident on 91 Freeway is still ongoing.
