34-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Rollover Accident near Toppenish
TOPPENISH, WA (July 17, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Felipe Uriostegui was killed in a rollover collision on State Route 97. Police responded to the scene after 3:00 a.m., about two miles north of Toppenish after receiving multiple dispatch calls. According to reports, Uriostegui was driving north when he rear-ended another vehicle and lost control. The vehicle then left the roadway and overturned before landing on its wheels. First responders arrived and pronounced 34-year-old Uriostegui dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other driver remained uninjured. Crews also say both involved vehicles were totaled.
