60-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Colonnade Way

SURPRISE, AZ (December 30, 2021) – Thursday morning, Feliciano Sanchez-Medina was killed in a crash on Mountain View Boulevard.

The accident took place around 8:00 a.m. at Mountain View Boulevard near Colonnade Way.

According to reports, Medina and his landscaping team were working adjacent to the roadway when Medina was struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Due to the impact of the collision, Medina was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

At this time, the investigation is still underway, but it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident. It is still unclear if the driver will face any charges.
