1 Killed, 1 Injured in 3-Car Accident near Stadium Way

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 4, 2022) – A three-vehicle collision on 110 Freeway left one person dead and another injured, early Friday morning.

The tragic crash happened around 2:00 a.m., along 110 Freeway and Stadium Way.

According to authorities, three vehicles collided in the area for an unexplained reason.

Consequently, one of the cars became mangled and overturned. Moreover, the California Highway Patrol stated that one of the vehicles collided with a guardrail before colliding with a metal post.

Firefighters responded and tried to free a man believed to be a passenger from the vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts, the passenger died at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the driver to the hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries.

The crash shut down the area for a few hours due to clearing and preliminary duties. At the time, officials suspected that speed is one factor in the crash.

Authorities are currently conducting an active investigation into the crash.
