One Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Crash on Stanford Court

FAIRFIELD, CA (April 8, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, one person was fatally struck in a semi-truck collision on Huntington Drive.

Around 2:30 a.m., fire department personnel received a report of a two-vehicle accident near Huntington Drive and Stanford Court.

According to reports, the driver of a vehicle was traveling at high rates of speed and rear-ended a semi-truck. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the vehicle driver dead at the scene.

At this time, further events leading up to the incident remain unclear. Additionally, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
