One Dead, One Hurt after Hit-and-Run Collision in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 9, 2021) – Sunday evening, the victim of a hit-and-run crash on Manchester Avenue on Friday, was pronounced dead.

The hit-and-run crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Friday on the westbound lanes Manchester Avenue. First responders arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to the investigators, the suspect’s vehicle collided with another vehicle going westbound. Subsequently, the impact caused one of the vehicles to rotate counter-clockwise, hitting two pedestrians in the process.

One pedestrian suffered from minor injuries. Meanwhile, the other sustained severe blunt force trauma and later died at the hospital on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Officials are encouraging anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash to contact South Traffic Division at 323-421-2500.
