Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 15

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 22, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, one man was pronounced dead following a hit-and-run accident on Pinto Lane.

Authorities responded to the scene around 3:48 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the on-ramp from I-15 to Pinto Lane.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that crews located a man down on the roadway upon arrival.

Investigators say the driver of a passing vehicle struck the man and fled the scene without contacting police. Authorities currently withheld the victim’s name until his loved ones are notified.
