1 Killed in Deadly 2-Car Collision near San Felipe Lake

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA (November 16, 2021) – Late Sunday morning, one victim was killed in a fatal head-on car accident on Highway 152.

The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m., on the two-lane road also known as Pacheco Pass Highway. Responders arrived to the scene near San Felipe Lake, in an unincorporated area.

Per reports, the driver of a Toyota Tacoma crossed the center line and veered into oncoming lanes for reasons unknown. Shortly after, the driver collided head-on with an oncoming Dodge Ram.

Paramedics responded and pronounced one person dead, due to the extent of their condition. Meanwhile, two other victims sustained injuries. Although, their current condition has not yet been updated.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, authorities are still unsure as to whether or not drugs or alcohol were involved.
