Fatal Crash on 210 Freeway Ends with Fatality
PASADENA, CA (August 9, 2021) – An unidentified pedestrian was killed Sunday evening after a deadly crash on 210 Freeway in Pasadena.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 9:05 a.m. on August 1, along the 210 Freeway at Lake Avenue. They arrived and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Officials withheld the person’s name pending notification of next of kin, and no information about the person’s age or gender was available.
Furthermore, police shut down the carpool and Number 1 and 2 lanes for the investigation.
At 9:36 p.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert on the 210 Freeway.
At this time, it is unknown whether the crash was caused by speed, drugs, or alcohol. An active investigation, on the other hand, is underway.
