4 Injured, 1 Dead in Fatal 9-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10
SANTA MONICA, CA (August 19, 2021) – Saturday evening, authorities responded to a fatal 9-vehicle crash along the 10 Freeway that killed one individual.
The crash took place at around 5:46 p.m. near the Lincoln Boulevard overpass, as stated by the report.
According to Santa Monica officials, there were 9 different vehicles involved in the collision. In addition police discovered one of the vehicles had been overturned.
Tragically one individual lost their life, while four others were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The identities of the victims involved have not been released at this time.
Meanwhile, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
