Gendy AlimurungBOXeight's fashion “Refocus” experiment continued on Saturday with “installations” by Le Sang des Betes, Lloyd Klein, Michael Costello and Eduardo Lucero. Here are some of the images that came out of that evening (all photos by Chad Wilson). After Fashion Week is over, BOXeight will be creating a magazine featuring the photography generated from the event. It's amazing that the photographers can get shots like these with hundreds of people milling around watching them work (I imagine that gets pretty distracting after a while).
All night long, people are taking photos of other people taking photos of the photographers taking photos of the models. The entire event is performance art of the highest order. Yes, it's an “event” but it's also work.
