Dozens if not hundreds of people crashed the gates at a massive rave in Exposition Park Saturday, according to Fox 11 News. The annual, two-day Electric Daisy Carnival at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum drew an estimated 140,000 people, according to the station. Although fans were shown on video going over barriers and occupied tents in order to get inside the venue, no injuries were reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department's media relations folks tweeted shortly before 11 p.m. that “THERE IS NO, WE REPEAT NO EFFORT TO SHUT DOWN #EDC BY LAPD or @LAFD.”

The event, featuring superstar electronic dance music DJs, is billed as the largest such festival in the nation.

CBS2 reported that two dozen people were hospitalized during the first night, Friday — largely the result of dehydration.
