Fanatics! Welcome to October! My favorite month of the year. I did something very Fanatic for all four of our dreary Sunday night get-togethers this month: I worked on them all at once!

I must admit to being extremely selfish on the next four shows. It's basically a “What October means to me” show for the next four weeks. I only hope I don't drive you too crazy with it.

We are not going to break a ton of new ground on these shows! These are meant to be great mix tapes. If you notice, we get about 45 minutes of music per hour. Consider this your weekly C90.

There is something about the cooling of the air, the earlier dark and the slightly colder mornings that puts my thinking in a certain way; this show is part of that. Last year, I think we did a Damned album every week for all of October. If we had a longer show, it would be great to do that again. It's not like I can give out homework assignments, but you could listen to those albums on your own time at some point this month. Just putting that out there, Fanatic.

I betcha you are familiar with almost every single band we're playing tonight, but come on, it's all great from top to bottom. Either live or on archive, this one will hit the spot until we get together again next week. I have played these songs through a few times now and I have fully convinced myself that we have a great show!

Enjoy October and STAY FANATIC!!!
