RADIO BROADCAST #280
08–10–14

Fanatics! I am writing to you again from the scorching streets of Las Vegas. I think we’re here for a few more days. We have been shooting every day in 100+ degrees. NOT GETTING USED TO IT.

Thanks for coming to the event at the Grammy Museum last Sunday where we greeted and interviewed Omar Souleyman. Apparently, he was very happy with how things went.

Before we get into the music we have for you, I wanted to alert you to some great news.

]

The new White Fence album, For the Recently Found Innocent, is excellent. We will be getting into that one soon.

I have listened to Ty Segall’s new album Manipulator three times now and it is incredible. Double LP. The man himself gave us the clearance and we will be rolling out two songs from it on the 24th two days before its 26th release date.

The new J Mascis album Tied to a Star, another great one is out soon. We will be all over that one in the weeks to come.

The Sunn 0))) / Scott Walker album is amazing. We will get into that one as soon as we get the go ahead. I don’t have a release date but it will be this year.

So, there’s a lot to look forward to.

We are doing our best to make our August shows all they can be. We have a ways to go and hopefully, Fanatic, you will stay with us for all the broadcasts.

If you look below, we have a fantastic batch of tunes for you. So glad to have a Procedure Club track on the show. We haven’t played them in awhile.

I have been listening to Pumice a lot recently and thought it wise to put a track in the show.

All in all, another great two hours of tunes and malarkey. We hope you enjoy.

Drink plenty of water and STAY FANATIC!!!
