Fanatics! If you notice, the mood of the show has changed ever so slightly from last week. It is a little more Post, Cosmic and Cold. That doesn't mean we have lost our pulse! Check out the last three tracks of hour one! Stooges Open Up and Bleed!
Dig more Fuzz in hour two! Have you checked out how the Fuzz album has been rolled out?! Three different colors, an art edition, very low number pressed. LP sounds amazing. I have been in contact with our man Larry at In The Red and he says the response to the album has been great. Sounds like some Fanatics had been listening to the album before it came out. This is what it's all about, Fanatic.
Check out the Fuzz.
The Deluxe version sold out quickly, but if you want to go after it, check the usual spots and get ready to rumble. If you are free from collector boy/girl virus, you're much better off as the regular pressing is easily found. Great, great album.
I have been listening to a ton of music this month. A lot of old, a lot of new and just a lot. As you know, Fanatic, every month is great for music but October is a stellar month to go out of your way to listen on an unprecedented level. That's what I am trying to do.
By the time this show airs on Sunday night, I will have almost totally saturated myself with tunes.
Tonight's show is yet another feast for the ears. There are hardly any bands or artists on tonight's show that we have not had on before. All according to plan, Fanatic.
I know that many of you Fanatics are quite familiar with these bands and their albums, so consider this a mix tape and a chance for us to converge, from distant points all over the world, as we battle back against mediocrity and bad taste.
Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. So be it. Since it is our eyes and we're the ones doing the beholding–we call the shots. The votes are in. The show is great. The songs are forever and as always, Fanatic, we have won yet again. As we will next week.
Never stop playing music and STAY FANATIC!!!
