RADIO BROADCAST #230

08-25-13

Fanatics! This year has gone by so fast. It just hit me that this is our last show for August and we had not done our Case of the Punks broadcast. We have been doing this one for many years now, where every August, we rock two hours of classic Punk Rock. This year, we will contain ourselves to one and get onto other things in our second hour.

If you look down the list, I don't think anything in hour one is new to you but if it is, listen extra closely, you never know, it might end up being your new favorite band for a few days.

In hour two, we go all over the damn place. We have for you, new Ty Segall, Dirtbombs, Running and Bosnian Rainbows. We have a great track from Fursaxa, aka Tara Burke, from her album Lepidoptera as well as another Vlubä track. I have been listening to them a lot lately and wanted to bring on one more track for you.

I know that many of you are rockin' out at FYF Fest and perhaps you will have time to catch up with this show later.

Get ready for our September shows. We will have tracks from the new VUM as well as advance listening to Ty Segall's other album. Yes, he has another album coming out. This one's on In The Red and it's called Fuzz and we will be rolling out a track a week all the way to release time. It's a great album and we are so happy to be able to bring it out to you before it comes out. Big thanks to Larry at the label and Ty for giving us the green light. The VUM album is excellent and the band said we could start playing stuff in September, so off we go next week. I have already picked the song of theirs I want to use, it's really cool.

You know how this show is, Fanatic, we are hell bent on making it great every single damn week, so please, if you can, try to listen as often as possible.

Get ready for autumn and STAY FANATIC!!!
