RADIO BROADCAST #320
05–17–15

Fanatic! If you look below, you will see 30 reasons to listen to this show.

I don’t think music necessarily sounds better in warmer weather but it seems to go with increased temperatures better. I have been listening to three or four LPs a night, trying to keep up. It’s the best homework I’ve ever had.

Standout LPs from the last few nights are as follows:

Tam… Tam… Tam…! – Great music from Brazil with an interesting story. Gift from Engineer X. We’ll get tracks from it on the show soon.
Kid Congo – Dracula Boots
Khlyst – I Am Chaos
Male Gaze – Gale Maze
Pumice – Pebbles
Sun Ra – Calling Planet Earth
Tomutonttu – Elävänä Planeetalla
Puce Mary – Persona
Sun Ra – Planets of Life or Death
Iggy Pop – Shot Myself Up
Dick Diver – Melbourne Florida
AWOTT – You Have Reached Your Destination
Jack Name – Weird Moons
White Fence – Cyclops Reap

Two things to note about next week’s show. First, we will be playing a track from the new Valet album Nature in our first hour. Honey Owens has a new Valet LP done and it’s really great. We will be digging a song a week from it. Here is info.

Also, in hour two, we will be giving you, the very best Fanatics in existence, the world wide premier of the new Bong album We Are, We Were and We Will Have Been. It is a single LP with two long tracks. It sounds great. We got the go ahead from the label and so, get ready to go deep.

But before then, we have a great two hours of music. We are very happy with the balance we achieved with this one and after more than one play through, we deem it ready for your greatest enjoyment.

Until next week, listen, listen again, then give it another listen and STAY FANATIC!!!
