Fanatics! It's amazing how great our show is tonight. Sometimes I have to stand back and marvel at how damn consistently great the music is, just how incredibly excellent week after week all of this turns out to be. Would you take a look at what awaits you below? I agree, I felt like I had won the lottery as well when all was said and done.

I did want to make note that we are again playing the same Thin Lizzy song that we did a couple of weeks ago but wait until you hear this version! This is the only live version I have of the band doing the song and what a great job they do. I couldn't leave it out for the show this time around.

Yes, that is indeed new Pere Ubu in Hour two. The pot's on now as they say. This show goes all over the place. It's a calorie burner for sure. It's a two hour wind sprint to the top of Mount Music and we're taking the scenic route all the way.

Something To Look Forward To Dept.: Get ready for a new Oh Sees album that will be out later this year on Castle Face. It is excellent and fans will be rocked. When the time is right, you can bet will be playing tracks from it on the show.

Now, next week is KCRW's Pledge Drive. We will not be playing music as much as we will be promoting our wonderful station and cutting up as we usually do. Engineer X and I have been doing some show prep to keep things rolling and ridiculous most of the time. Listen in if you can.

Until then, it's a great batch of tunes for Fanatics. This is what it's all about. Good music on a Saturday night. Let's do it! Keep rockin' and STAY FANATIC!!! –Henry
