KCRW BROADCAST #208

03-23-13

Fanatics! Hello from Honolulu, Hawaii. Due to a scheduling glitch, I am out here without the means to create this Saturday's show. Engineer X and I looked over some of our older shows and settled on one from last May to roll out for you.

You might remember it from when I was in Vancouver last year. If you hear any references to Vancouver, you will know why.

I am sorry that we were not able to bring you a live show as we had in mind to play you tracks from Marnie Stern's excellent new album The Chronicles of Marnia. We will definitely get some tracks from it into our next show. In the meantime, go check it out!

As to tonight's already-been-chewed line-up, it is the usual stellar fare. I hope that since the show is from our recent past, you will not be bored.

Thank you for affording us a bit of room to move and we apologize for not being able to be with you live and that we were not prepared for a new pre-tape show for you. I know that I perhaps take all this stuff too seriously but we really aim to deliver weekly the best we can.

For now, I say aloha and STAY FANATIC!!!
