Fanatics! Another week, another two hours of great music. I hope that you are enjoying the weather, wherever you are, Fanatic.

I have been working away on 10 Things You Don't Know About. Our days are often quite long and I do my best to get as much listening in as I can. Once we wrap for the day, I can usually listen to one or two records that I have loaded into my listening device and then I have to get the lights out but I am making some progress.

I have been listening to a few different groups as of late, with great interest. 1/3 Octave Band is one. I believe that's one of the side projects of Campbell Kneale of Birchville Cat Motel. Also the new releases of My Cat Is An Alien and Clarinette.

A couple of Fanatics wrote me about the great Japanese band Kikagaku Moyo, thank you for that. I followed up and have some of their music slated for later in the summer. Very cool, what I've heard so far. I think you can hear some of the jams here.

Tonight's show is, what can I say, amazing. We don't make the music, Fanatic, we just select and pass it onto you. Hopefully, you will find our brief visit together worthwhile.

When I was finishing this show up weeks ago, I noticed that we have a lot of R&B in tonight's show. I think that's perfect for this time of year. Here is how old I am: I remember when Keep On Truckin' was a single.

I have a kind of night off tonight. I have to get up at the crack of dawn of course but I am planning on carving out at least two hours for listening. I am looking forward to that.

I hope you dig the songs we have laid out for you. That's all it's about. Getting some good tunes playing and enjoying the very simple miracle of music. The only thing that gets old around here is me and the jokes. Listening to music, that never gets old.

Enjoy our time at the sonic campfire and STAY FANATIC!!!
