RADIO BROADCAST #270
06 – 01 – 14

Fanatics! Tonight, I write you from Oakland, California. I am up here for a few days working. Great weather, amazing sunsets.

Tonight's show, a virtual plethora of goodness, is made to make enjoy the summer temperatures and for all you Australians and New Zealanders, you will find this a fantastic playlist to enjoy as your part of the world is cooling off.

You will notice a Devo track from their amazing second album on Warner Bros., Duty Now for the Future. One of my favorite albums to play in this weather. Also, the warmer months demand some Sort Sol, so we answer the call.

I think my favorite track of the show is Clarinette's interpretation of U Got the Look. I am such a fan.

In our second hour, you will notice a little of the conceptual as we open and close with the great Eddie Hazel.

Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees are in as well. If you have not checked Ty's Sleeper album, you really should. Same for Thee Oh Sees new album Drop. Greatness abounds

Sometimes, I wish our shows was hours long, so we could really drill down into all this even more Fanatically. We should be playing some of these albums all the way through but our time is limited and perhaps the show inspires to keep it happening with more tunes after the show is over.

We hope you enjoy the show.

Thank you very much for listening and STAY FANATIC!!!
