Girls dolled up in black and red corsets and oversized bunny hats roamed Royal/T last night. Bumping tails with them, Japanese waitresses served multi-colored French fries, tuna tartare, mini purplish tuna salad sandwiches, and mushroom shaped chocolate covered pretzels for the launch of The Never Ending Story: Fairytale, Fantasy, Obsession, an exhibit curated by Laura Hoptman that will be on display until August. While owner Susan Hancock described some of the near priceless pieces from her vast art collection and read animal energies with animal tarot cards (I was an elephant), you needed a moment to realize that, yes, you are still in Culver City. As Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland approaches, you might want to grab a grilled cheese on a stick while falling down the rabbit hole. It's a long way down. View more photos from last night's Alice-themed party after the jump.
