Fakers on the radio
And now, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to return to the golden days of live radio broadcasts. Fake Radio, those spats-wearing lovers of cheap sound effects — present The Great McGinty . If you don't remember the original 1942 broadcast of the Phillip Morris Playhouse version (and if you do, right on!), here's your big chance to catch Preston Sturges' political drama about the scofflaw-turned-honest governor, who was found out and sent on the lam. The Faker Radio-ers also perform Mr. District Attorney about Thomas Dewey's public war against racketeering.
