Three enterprising men stole $20,000 worth of weed from a cannabis courier yesterday, and you won't believe how they did it:

Cops in Fullerton allege the trio painted a green cross on the wall of a random building and had the supplier meet them there, where they ambushed him for at least some of the bud (more about that later …).

It all happened in broad daylight, about …

… 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in an industrial complex in the 1100 block of East Elm Avenue, according to what Sgt. Andrew Goodrich told City News Service last night.

The weed man had traveled all the way from Oakland with the stuff, police said.

The trio jumped the courier and scuffled with him, scattering half the targeted marijuana in the process and giving the victim a cut on the head, Goodrich said.

Still, the three musk-ateers got away with nine pounds, which cops say is worth a cool 20K.

They also took the victim's phone, Goodrich said.

So remember, weed wholesalers: Make sure your delivery guy is headed to a dispensary that's actually on the map.
