Los Angeles Has Some of the Fairest Wages for Women in California
There's one place in California where women make more than men. And you probably live there. In an effort to get Capital Hill to take action, the association has ranked each state's congressional district by the size of its gender pay gap. The higher the ranking, the lower the gap.

City of Compton Lands a Fortune 500 Company
The city this week agreed to enter an agreement to bring a new United Parcel Service package delivery center to the city. UPS is ranked 47th on the Fortune 500 list of largest U.S. companies. The deal will bring the center to Building One of the city's 59-acre Brickyard complex at Central and Rosecrans avenues, city officials say. UPS will anchor the Brickyard Commerce Center.
